Rockingham is a popular seaside holiday resort due to proximity to Perth city. Rockingham is located about 47km south of Perth. Rockingham has established itself as a popular tourist destination because of loads of wild bottlenose dolphins inhabit there. Besides the dolphins, there are plenty of opportunities to see other wild animals such as penguins and seals as there are islands called a penguin island and a seal island situated in Rockingham.
Dunsborough is a tranquil tourism town located about 255km south west of Perth. Dunsborough’s popular tourist spots are Cape Naturaliste National Park where we can see a magnificent rock called Sugarloaf Rock and splendid beaches such as Meelup Beach. Dunsborough is also famous as a diving spot because of the HMAS Swan Dive Wreck which was sunk in 1997.
Margaret River is one of the most popular tourist spot in South West as it offers so many places to visit. Well visited spots in Margaret River are World class premium wineries, Mammoth Cave and awesome beach. The beach is particularly popular for surfers and wind surfers, the beach hosts to world class surfing competition every year. As Margaret River is only 3 hours drive from Perth, it is popular to Australian as well as International visitors.
Pemberton is a forest town surrounded by Karri and Jarrah trees. Amongst the forest, there are especially majestic trees called Gloucester Tree (60 meters), Bicentennial Tree (75 metes) and Diamond Tree (52 meters). We can actually climb these giant trees and enjoy superb view from top of the trees. There is also waterfall called Beedelup Falls in Beedelup National Park. Pemberton is the place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature.
Denmark is a beautiful town surrounded by awesome state forest. The town in Denmark is small but absolutely gorgeous. Tranquil Denmark river flows by the town and there are many water birds inhabit around the river. The most popular tourist spot in Denmark is Green Pool. Green Pool is particularly popular for family as the water is crystal clear and very shallow. Plus, there are unique rocks called Elephant Rocks which look like a herd of elephants.
Walpole is a small town yet one of the most visited tourist town because of Tree Top Walk. Tree Top Walk in Walpole is the world's longest and highest tree top walk. The highest spot of the tree top walk is 40 meters above the ground. Next to Tree Top Walk, there is another well known tourist spot called The Ancient Empire Trees waiting us. The walkway is surrounded by the giant tingle trees and we can actually walk though some of the trees. Tree Top Walk and The Ancient Empire Trees are both situated in The Valley of the Giants National Park.
Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia. Albany is a windy town and there are wind farm located on the top of hill. The wind farm actually generates about 75% of electronic needs in Albany. The most popular tourist spot around Albany is Natural Bridge. Natural Bridge is the unique enormous rock which shapes like a bridge. We can also enjoy whale watching during July to October in Albany.
Esperance is one of the places you must visit while you are in Western Australia. Esperance offers brilliant beach called Lucky Bay where we can enjoy white sandy beach and crystal clear water. There are also many spectacular beaches such as Hellfire Bay in Cape Le Grand National Park. The other popular spot in Esperance is Frenchman's Peak which is a granite rock. We can enjoy climbing Frenchman's Peak (about 260 meters) and enjoy amazing view.
Wave Rock is one of the most unique rock formations we have in Western Australia. As the name suggests us that Wave Rock looks like a massive wave. Wave Rock is situated in Hyden about 350 kilometers south east of Perth city. Wave Rock is said to be there from about 2,700 million years ago. Wave Rock area is associated with aborigines for a long time and many aboriginal tools have been found in this area.
